Insightful Sciences Merges With Dotmatics

San Diego-based Insightful Sciences, a provider of software tot he life sciences community, says it is acquiring UK-based Dotmatics, a developer of a cloud-based scientific R&D data management platform. Financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed, however, the companies said the combined companies will generate well over $100M of ARR. Insightful Science is led by CEO Thomas Swalla. The companies said that by integrating Insightful Science's software applications into Dotmatics cloud-first enterprise data management solution, the company will provide an end-to-end scientific research platform. Insightful Science is a portfolio company of Insight Partners.
