    Intel Invests in Staccato Communications


    Intel Corp. announced yesterday at the Intel Developer Forum that it has invested in San Diego-based Staccato Communications, along with several other companies. The investment came from the $200M Intel Digital Home Fund. Staccato is developing ultrawideband technology for communications and recently closed a round of funding that included Allegis Capital, Bay Partners, Charles River Ventures, and Interwest Partners.
