Intel To Open New Studio In Hollywood Aimed At VR

Intel CEO Brian Krzanich said on Tuesday that the semiconductor maker will create a new, studio in Hollywood, will will focus on creating 360-degree virtual reality sports and entertainment content, using its technology. According to Krzanich, speaking at an Intel conference in San Francisco, said the new Intel Tech Experience Labs will use its 360 Replay technology as the basis for that virtual reality content. Intel did not say how many people it will hire at the new effort, or exactly where in Los Angeles the new unit will be based.
