Newport Beach-based InteliCloud, a manufacturer of network equipment, is announcing today that it has raised a Series A financing round. Amount of the funding was not disclosed. The firm said the round was led by Media One Direct, a content delivery network company based in Aliso Viejo. InteliCloud is developing a networking hardware product which combines equipment for voice, video, and data into a single chassis. The firm said that it is targeting Internet service providers with its equipment, by offering reduced power and space requirements, and higher density than existing blade and rackmount server systems.
