    Intercasting Gets Wins With AT&T, Verizon


    San Diego-based Intercasting Corporation, a provider of mobile social networking software, has major wins with AT&T and Verizon. Intercasting--which develops a mobile application for accessing social networking web sites and blogs--is powering a new downloadable application called "My Communities" at AT&T, and a new application called SocialLife from Verizon. Both applications allow users to access social networking sites such as MySpace. Financial impact of the deals were not disclosed. AT&T said the new "My Communities" application will be available for a monthly subscription of $2.99 through its AT&T MEdia Mall. Verizon's SocialLife application will cost $1.49 per month.
