El Segundo-based International Rectifier announced today that it has completed the sale of its Power Control Systems (PCS) business to Vishay Intertechnology. The $290M cash deal includes IR's discrete planar MOSFET, discrete diodes and rectifiers, discrete thyristors, and multi-chip modules product lines. International Rectifier is a provider of semiconductors for power management.
