    International Rectifier Names Acting CFO


    El Segundo-based, mixed signal and analog semiconductor firm International Rectifier reported late Wednesday that the firm has appointed an acting CFO for the firm. The company said that Peter B. Knepper will servce in the position, as the firm looks for a permanent CFO. Knepper takes over from actin CFO Linda J. Pahl, who will remain as a consultant to the firm. Knepper comes to IR from Tatum LLC, where he is a Partner. Knepper is also founder of Keystone Advisors, and has served as CFO for MDI, Inc., Key3Media Group, and served for ten years as SVP and CFO of Ticketmaster Group. The firm said the move will allow it to complete its restatement process as quickly as possible. International Rectifier said it has retained Korn/Ferry International to find it a permanent CFO. International Rectifier has been battling accounting issues since April of last year.
