    Interneer Trumpets Web Application Patent


    Los Angeles-based Interneer, a developer of a web-based application development platform, said Tuesday that it has been awarded a U.S. Patent on its technology. The firm said that the patent protects the way the company's software captures information. The patent, U.S. Patent No. 7,113,956, is entitled "Knowledge Management System and Method". Accoring to the U.S. Patent and Trademark filing, the patent was actually granted in September of last year, and names Romeo Elias, Jaime Sipila, and Andrew Young as inventors. Elias is the firm's COO and CTO; Sipila is the company's VP of Professional Services; and Young is Interneer's VP of Business Development.
