Los Angeles-based Internet Brands is continuing its strategy of buying up vertical web properties, saying today that it has acquired ExpertHub, which operates a network of websites which connect consumers with attorneys. as well as two shopping web sites. Financial terms of the buys were not disclosed. The firm also said, in a separate acquisition, that it has acquired DoDTracker.com (Deal of the Day Tracker), and PursePage.com, a site that reviews designer handbags. According to Internet Brands, ExpertHub will become part of the firm's Money and Business vertical. DoDTracker and PursePage become part of the firm's Shopping vertical.
