Invensys Names Chief Software Officer

Invensys plc, a British provider of automation and process control services, announced today that it has named Sudipta Bhattacharya as Chief Software Solutions Officer. Bhattacharya will serve at the company's Lake Forest-based Wonderware business unit, and guide the strategy and growth of both Invensys and Wonderware. Bhattacharya was most recently a Senior Vice President and SAP America, and has also served at i2 Technologies and Tata Group. Wonderware is a supplier of process automation software used for manufacturing and industrial automation.
