    Invitrogen Ties Into Procurement


    Carlsbad-based Invitrogen said today that it has partnered with SciQuest, a provider of supplier management and procurement automation software. Invitrogen will offer SciQuest's on-demand software alongside its life sciences products. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. The firms report that they have already signed numerous customers to their initiative, including Sanger Institute, Exelixis, and Apoxis. Invitrogen provides product used by life science firms for research and discovery.
