Iomega Adds Mac Leopard Support

San Diego-based Iomega, a manufacturer of hard drive storage devices, said Thursday that its Iomega UltraMax, UltraMax Pro, and MiniMax desktop hard drives now support Time Machine, a new backup feature in Mac OS Leopard. Iomega said that its drives are now pre-formatted for the Mac, and because of that are automatically recognized by Time Machine and used for the feature, which automatically backs ups users' computers. Iomega's hard drives support up to 1.5TB of capacity and are pre-formatted as HFS+ drives for the Macintosh environment.
