IR Opens Chinese Customer Service Center

El Segundo-based International Rectifier this morning said that it has opened a new customer service center in Shenzen, China, to support its Chinese customers. The new center, based in the Guangdong international trade zone, will serve IR's semiconductor customers in the power management area. The company manufactures ICs used for a variety of applications, including computers and electronic motor drives for refrigerators, washers and air conditioners.
