    iRise Adds $20M For Simulation Software


    El Segundo-based software firm iRise said this morning that it has raised an additional $20M in an investment round for the firm's visualization software. The new round of funding came from Morgan Stanley Venture Partners, Gold Hill Capital, SVB Silicon Valley Bank, and Deutsche Bank. iRise said the new funding will go towards product development and distribution of its application software. iRise develops software used to simulate web applications without requiring programming skills, and is targeted at prototyping business applications.
