iRise Names Advisor

El Segundo-based iRise, a developer of software used by enterprises to visualize and prototype their IT development projects, announced this morning that it has named Ralph Szygenda to its advisory board. Szygenda is the former global CIO of General Motors, and also has served at Bell Atlantic and Texas Instruments. iRise said that Szygenda will help create a "CIO advisory council" for the company. iRise is backed by Morgan Stanley Venture Partners, and Deutsche Bank.
