Ixia Adds Interoperability Test Support
Calabasas-based Ixia, a provider of communications and networking test products, said this week that it has added the ability to test interoperability of fixed mobile convergence and 3G video telephony codecs. The firm said that it has added new capabilities to its IxMobile 3G telephony test solution to support tests from the Global Certification Forum (GCF) and the PCS Type Certification Review Board (PTCRB), including GSM-AMR-WB and H.264 support. The tests ensure compliance of hardware with video telephony requirements.
