    Ixia Adds ITU G.709 Support
    Calabasas-based Ixia (www.ixiacom.com) has added support for the ITU G.709 Optical Transport Network standard. The new G.709 Load Module is designed to test these network elements working with 10Gig Ethernet LAN, WAN, or OC-192 over SONET. The G.709 standard is used for high speed optical networking.
