    Ixia Adds Metro Ethernet Test Features
    Calabasas-bsaed Ixia (www.ixiacom.com) announced that it has added support for Generic Framing Procedure (GFP) for its OC-48c Packet over SONET test module. The new features is targeted at Metro Ethernet devices. The GFP standard defines a method for transporting different kinds of traffic over SONET network.
