Ixia Buys G3 NOVA for $9M
Calabasas-based Ixia (www.ixiacom.com) has acquired Westlake Village-based G3 NOVA Technology for $9M in cash and stock, plus future earnout, and introduced a new line of Voice over IP testing tools as a result of the purchase. Ixia will now offer IxVoice, performance and conformance test tools for VoIP and IP telephony technologies. G3 Nova's operations are here as well as in Bucharest, Romania where G3 employs over 40 engineers.
