j2 Global Buys UK Messaging Services Provider
Los Angeles-based j2 Global Communications has acquired Puma Unified Communications Limited, a provider of messaging systems in the United Kingdom. j2, a provider of outsourced messaging and communications services such as online FAX and voice mail, said that it acquired the company as a part of its strategy to expand it service throughout Europe. Puma provides fax, voice, and SMS services to businesses in the UK. Financial terms were not disclosed, however j2 Global said the impact on its finances would be immaterial.
