j2 Global Sees Record Quarter

Los Angeles-based J2 Global, the Internet services firm which has grown into a diversified Internet services and publishing empire, reported last night that it had a record quarter, with revenues of $141.4M, a 58 percent increase versus its revenues a year ago. The company now owns an empire of Internet fax, hosted email, email marketing, online backup, CRM software, unified communications--not to mention an entire publishing arm, which includes Ziff Davis and IGN Entertainment. The company attributed the growth in its business to "strong growth" across its cloud, media, and intellectual property businesses.
