Los Angeles-based j2 Global, a provider of Internet FAX services, has purchased the fax business of Mediaburst Limited, a European provider of fax services. j2 did not disclose financial details of the asset acquisition. Mediaburst Limited is based in Cheshire, England, and provides FAX and SMS services. j2 Global said that the financial impact to the company is not expected to be material.
