JMAR Raises $3M

San Diego-based JMAR Technologies has raised $3M in a private placement. The firm said that it raised the funding from twelve accredited investors, with Midtown Partners & Co. acting as the placement agent. JMAR said that it would use the funding for investment in its product development activities. JMAR develops laser modules for X-ray generation and spectrochemical analysis.
