King.com Extends Yahoo Games Deal

Los Angeles- and London-based King.com, an online provider of casual games, said Tuesday that the firm has extended a relationship it has with Yahoo!. The firm said that it will provide its skill games, which include puzzle, action, strategy, word, sports, and card games, across the Yahoo! Games site. King.com also has licensed games based on American Idol, Deal or No Deal, and other television properties. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. King.com maintains business development and U.S. offices in Los Angeles; the company also has operations in London and development offices in Stockholm. The firm is venture backed by Apax Partners and Index Ventures.
