Kofax Taps Adobe For Barcode Solution

Irvine-based Kofax and Kofax have inked a deal to integrate Adobe's LiveCycle Barcoded forms into the Kofax Ascent Capture platform. Adobe's barcoded forms automate the capture of user data through Adobe PDF forms, and is captured through Kofax's document scanning process. The two companies are targeting the solution at companies, government agencies, and large organizations that need to manage large volumes of paper forms. Kofax will market and sell the combined solution through its reseller network, and will be available in the second half of the year.
