Kumba Health Launches New Subscription Service

Los Angeles-based Kumba Health says it has launched a new, subscription service, which helps consumers get pricing transparency from local doctors on their procedures. Kumba Health says it charges $9.99 a month, or $99 per year for the service, which helps consumers get direct access to lower prices on services compared with insurance-based health services. The company is aiming at the direct-pay part of the market, where people with high deductible insurance plans shop for their own healthcare services.
