Kyocera Teams On M2M CDMA Modems




San Diego-based Kyocera Wireless and Land Cellular have inked an agreement to provide modems for the CDMA market. The two companies have rolled out modems targeted at industrial applications. The two firms are targeting wireless applications such as information kiosks, ATM machines, oil/gas wellheads, disaster relief, intelligent traffic system signs, and other applications for the products. The new solution combined Kyocera's 200 Module and Land's CDM-819 and CDM-822 modems. The products allow devices to communicate via CDMA wireless newtorks.
