LA Company Rolls Out Your Own, Wandering, Wi-Fi Connected Security Robot

Wish you had your very own, security robot? Los Angeles-based iPATROL has just rolled out a new, Wi-Fi enabled, roving robot called Riley, which lets homeowners see real time, high definition video from the robot from their iOS or Android phone, from anywhere in the world. The diminutive--and some could even say, cute--robot rolls around on offroad capable tracks, and has a motion-sensor activated camera, and build in microphone and speakers. iPatrol said its robot can be used to alert homeowners when motion is detected around the home, or can even be used as a pet companion and to interact with family members. iPATROL is led by Rodney Lo.
