Language Weaver Signs Marketing Deal
Los Angeles-based Language Weaver said Monday that it has signed a strategic marketing and integration agreement with Armedia LLC, an Atlanta-based provider of software and services for the EMC Documentum market. Language Weaver said that Armedia has integrated EMC Documentum with the firm's statistical machine translation software. Armedia will also become a reseller of the firm's language translation software. Armedia provides business and technology consulting to the Federal Government through a GSA contract; the firms said that integration between EMC Documentum and Language Weaver's software was part of a deal for the DIA (Defense Intelligence Agency). Language Weaver is a spinout of the University of Southern California’s Information Sciences Institute. EMC Documentum is a content management software tool.
