LeadPoint Gets Win With the New York Times

Los Angeles-based LeadPoint, a venture-backed firm developing a marketplace for buying and selling consumer leads, said last night that it has reached a deal with The New York Times Company. The New York Times Company will use Leadpoint's voice leads technology to connect consumers to lenders on its web sites, including The New York Times and The BOston Globe. LeadPoint provides a platform for companies to trade leads, in the areas of credit, lending, and business services. Leadpoint is backed by Breakwater Ventures, Estalea, Redpoint Ventures, and others.
