LexisNexis announced yesterday that it has acquired a Los Angeles-based developer of evidence management software, Dataflight Software. Terms were not disclosed. Dataflight is a provider of software used by law firms, corporations, and government agencies to organize and identify documents in litigation. The software manages transcripts, searches documents, links trial exhibits, redacts documents, and more. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. LexisNexis is a major provider of information and research services for the legal industry, and is owned by Reed Elsevier Group.
