    LifeMasters Acquires Software Firm


    Irvine-based LifeMasters (www.lifemasters.com) announced the acquisition of Medical Scientists, a provider of predictive modeling technology. Terms were not disclosed. LifeMaster will integrate Medical Scientists' predictive modeling software into its software products. The products are used for determining which individuals and groups are most likely to develop health problems and what the cost of the health plan will be to an employer.
