San Diego-based LightPointe Communications said Thursday that it has added Brian R. Petersil as Director of Customer Service and Strategic Account Sales. The free-space optics (FSO) firm said that Petersil joins the firm from Loea Corporation. LightPointe has recently started expanding the firm's sales efforts, after a restructuring of the business in 2006. LightPointe was shut down in May of 2006, but raised new funding and emerged in October 11 with a new management team and financial backers. More information »
