    Linksys Rolls Out 802.11n Products

Irvine-based Linksys has rolled out new, 802.11n draft specification hardware, with a complete line of 802.11n products. The new products implement the still draft 802.11n wireless specification, which raises wireless rates to up to 100 megabits per second. 802.11n promises to provide support for wireless video, and is as fast as or faster than most Ethernet connections today. Linksys, which is a division of Cisco, said that it now has a wireless gateway, broadband router, and notebook adapter that supports the 802.11n draft specification. The firm, which develops hardware for the consumer and small office/home office market, said the new hardware will be available in June.
