    Linspire Signs Micro Center


    San Diego-based Linspire has signed an agreement with electronics retailer Micro Center to feature its Linux desktop computing distribution in boxed and pre-installed software at Micro Center stores. Micro Center is a 20 store nationwide chain of computer retail stores. Linspire will installed on both desktop and laptop machines for purchase at Micro Center. Linspire provides a Linux-based desktop operating system bundled with open source applications like OpenOffice, a web browser, email clients, multimedia viewers, and more.
