    Linspire Taps Virtualization Software


    San Diego-based Linspire announced this afternoon that it is now offering a desktop virtualization software offering from Parallels, through its Linspire and Freespire Linux operating systems. Linspire said that Parallels will be offered through its CNR delivery service. Parllels allows users to run any version of windows under a Linux environment. The new software will be available for $49.99. Linspire develops a desktop Linux operating system distribution targeted and home and small business users.
