Lithera Ups Series C To $35.6M

San Diego-based pharmaceuticals firm Lithera, which is developing aesthetic medicine products aimed at reducing fat, said this week that it has completed a final close of its Series C funding at $35.6M. The final tranche of the round added $8.0M in funding. According to Lithera, the new tranche of funding came from Alta Partners, DOmain Assocaites, AKS Capital, as well as others.
