LiveDigital Adds User Revenue Sharing
Los Angeles-based LiveDigital is launching a new effort to extend the online video sharing web site's reach, saying Tuesday that it will allow its users to design, program, and brand their own Internet channels, and share the revenues from those channels with users. LiveDigital, which is owned by Oversee.net, said that it believes that video sharing and hosting technology has become a commodity, and that the effort will help will help it engage users for a longer period of time. Users will also have the opportunity to choose if they'd like advertising on their channels, and send newsletter and notices to viewers of those channels.
