Irvine-based Local.com has received $8M in a private placement from Heart Interactive Media, the firm said today. Greenway Capital also participated. Local.com said that the proceeds would be used for general working capital and strategic initiatives, and includes convertible debentures and warrants. Local.com was represented by investment banker GunnAllen Financial in the transaction.
