Irvine-based Local.com announced this morning that it has appointed Lori Chavez as its new Vice President of Marketing. Chavez joins the company from Westfield, the shopping mall developer. Chavez also has served at Jones Lang LaSalle, Elementbars.com, and Equity Office Properties. Local.com operates a network on online websites which market local businesses. The firm's businesses now include daily deals site Spreebird, advertising network Rovion.com, and product inventory and search site Krillion.com.
