Deloitte announced its national Fast 500 winners today, the firm's annual list of fastest growing technology firms in the nation. The highest ranking firm in Southern California was Tustin-based Radient Pharmaceuticals, which was number 12 nationally with 12,669% five year growth. San Diego's Halozyme Therapeutics was number 13 at 10657% growth; Irvine-based Spectrum Pharmaceuticals ranked 23, with 6490% growth; and Woodland Hills-based ReachLocal, was ranked #34, with 4,489% revenue growth over the past five year. Other highly ranking firms were Carlsbad-based Genoptix, with 3,451% growth; Marina del Rey-based Awareness Technologies, ranked #42, with 3,317% growth; San Diego's Entropic Communications, with 3027% growth, and Calabasas-based BlackLine Systems, ranked at #61, 2,063% five year growth. Entropic also had the distinction of being the fastest growing semiconductor company on the national listing, holding the number one position for a firm in its industry.
Other highly ranking firms included Irvine's Composite Technology, ranked at 69 with 1843% growth; Temecula-based Walz Group, ranked at 74, with 1,733% revenue growth; Irvine display maker VIZIO, at 77 with 1640% growth; and Simi Valley-based Volusion, ranked at 87, with 1,305% revenue growth.
