LoveIt, the venture backed photo curation and sharing site backed and run by a number of PriceGrabber veterans, said this morning that it has released a batch of new features for its service. The Pasadena company said that it has added such features as content importing and batch uploads. LoveIt is taking on Pinterest, allowing users to visually curate collections of their favorite photos of products and other items. The new features specifically aim at allowing users to import their entire Pinterest boards and images from the popular photo-focused social sharing service. The new features also allow users to import images from Instagram, Tumblr, and Flickr. LoveIt is headed by Ron LaPierre, former President of PriceGrabber. The company announced a $6M, venture funding round in June.
