Lynda.com Hit By Password Breach
Online learning site Lynda.com, which is now part of LinkedIn/Microsoft, has been hit by a password breach, which compromised less than 55,000 accounts at the service. The hashed passwords spurred a reset of accounts on the site, as well as a wider warning to its users. Lynda said the breach also included information on contact information and courses viewed, according to an email sent to users. Lynda.com is headquartered in Carpinteria.
