Calabasas-based Lynx Photonic Networks said that it has added a new line of optical switches for telecom carriers. The company said that it has introduced the LightLEADER 3701, an intelligent all-optical switch designed for protecting optical channels. The company's hardware automatically switches between optical channels when it detects failures in a fiber network.
