MaintenanceNet Wins Panasonic
Enterprise software might be considered on the boring side for some of those in the technology world, but it looks like the industry is being good to Carlsbad-based MaintenanceNet. The firm, which develops software-as-a-service used by companies to automate warranty and maintenance contract management, reported another win this morning, with Panasonic. The firm said it has implemented its platform for Panasonic System Communications Company of North America, which is the primary B2B technology solutions division of Panasonic Corporation of North America.
MaintenanceNet apparently has been seeing good customer uptake of its software; the firm reported a few weeks ago it had increased its revenue by 115 percent and staffing by 60 percent in 2012. The firm hasn't given any actual financials, but did say it generated more than $2.3 billion in service contracts for its customers last year. THe firm's customers use its contract management software to help automate quoting and renewals on service contracts. In the case of Panasonic, MaintenanceNet's software is apparently being used to help generate sales leads for its various product lines.
