The accelerator said it has selected Canviz (connected LCD photo canvas); Emerge (touch sensitive communications hardware); Luma Legacy (connected, smart bracelets); and Rufus Labs (wireless wrist communicator) to the program. Make In LA said the four companies were selected from a pool of 112 applications for across 24 countries. The participants will receive up to $150,000 in investment capital, mentoring, and access to a prototype lab. Make In LA's program is managed by Shaun Arora and Noramay Cadena. This next class has its Demo Day on June 28th.
