MarketShare Partners Acquired For $450M

Los Angeles-based MarketShare Partners, the marketing analytics technology developer led by Wes Nichols and Jon Vein, has been acquired by Neustar, in a deal worth $450M. According to Neustar, Marketshare generated $57M in revenues for the twelve months ended September 30, 2015. MarketShare was venture backed by FTV Capital, Elevation Partners, along with others. MarketShare's predictive analytics software is used by the marketing industry to understand how their investments marketing and sales reflect in TV, print, display, search, video, social media, website, PR, and elsewhere. Neustar said the acquisition will help it enable CMOs to plan, optimize, and allocate their online and offline marketing budgets.
