Orange-based Marshal8e6 announced Tuesday that it has acquired Avinti, a developer of security software. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. According to Marshal8e6, Avinti's team will be merged into the firm. Avinti is a developer of malware detection technolgoy. Marshal8e6 is a developer of security products for both the Web and email.
