Mavenlink, Kimble Applications Become Kantata

Irvine-based Mavenlink and London-based Kimble Applications said today that the two companies have merged, and become a new company, Kantata. According to the company, the company will "accelerate the development and delivery of the most comprehensive range of vertical SaaS solutions purpose-built to help professional services organizations optimize and elevate operational performance to build thriving businesses." The newly merged company is headed by CEO Michael Speranza. Financial details of the merger have not been announced. The companies are owned by Carrick Capital Partners and Goldman Sachs, among others.
