Carlsbad-based MaxLinear said Monday afternoon that it has named HK Desai, the Chairman and former CEO of QLogic, to its board of directors. Desai currently is Chairman of data, server, and storage networking firm QLogic, and had been CEO from 1996 until 2010, and has been instrumental in guiding QLogic's growth. MaxLinear is a developer of radio frequency (RF) and mixed signal semiconductors.
